Recent data releases
Commissioning data are being made available as part of the Early Science Program.
Solar System products
In April 2025, the moving objects detected in the Rubin First Look images (including ~2k newly-discovered objects) were released via the Minor Planet Center (MPC). In February 2026, two additional batches of Rubin observations for moving objects were submitted to the MPC: ~700k observations for ~64k known solar system objects, plus ~245k observations for up to ~17k potentially newly-discovered solar system objects.
All Rubin data for solar system objects is available via the MPC (with observatory code X05). A Rubin-only subset of MPC entries is maintained by the Asteroid Institute (a program of the B612 Foundation) at ls.st/ast.
Data Preview 1
Data Preview 1 contains image and catalog products from Rubin Science Pipelines v29 processing of observations obtained with the LSST Commissioning Camera of seven ~1 square degree fields over seven weeks in late 2024.
Data Preview 0
A limited amount of simulated, LSST-like data products are available.
DP0.3
Catalogs of simulated full-area detections and derived orbital parameters for known and predicted populations of moving objects, at year one and year ten of the LSST.

DP0.2

DP0.1 (deprecated)
DP0.1 was an earlier version of DP0.2, and is now deprecated.
